MLM Bouldering Roped Autobelay Bouldering Flooring Roped Flooring Youth Area

The only indoor climbing gym in northern New Mexico, Santa Fe Climbing Center rebuilt its decades-old facility from the ground up to accommodate a continually growing community. Featuring a freestanding bouldering wall, top rope routes, and an impressively overhung lead climbing area, Santa Fe Climbing Center partnered with Vertical Solutions to modernize and scale its climbing experience. The spacious new gym caters to climbers of all ages and ability levels—and even features a slide on the kids’ wall.

The owners chose MLM climbing wall construction due to its simplicity and rapid manufacturing process, among other reasons. The finished product seen here, shows the complexity involved in the design to vary the climbing experience for their customers.
This indoor climbing gym uses a plethora of surface changes in its MLM wall design to visually create depth and intrigue amongst climbers old and new. Surface changes are complimented with custom colors, on-brand for the gym including a custom logo front and center.
Taking a step back, you can see how intimidating the overhung lead climbing wall is at this indoor climbing gym. This specific design feature is something Vertical Solutions can execute on quickly using the advantages of our MLM process and CNC cut geometric panels.
This view shows almost the entire single-sided rope climbing layout of climbing gym. Vertical Solutions manufactured these indoor climbing walls to deliver a great climbing experience now, and decades down the road.

A really great perspective on the whole facility, with the rope-climbing all along the left and large indoor bouldering walls on the right of the image. All of these climbing wall systems were manufactured and built by Vertical Solutions and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
A separate bouldering wall/island is alongside the roped climbing area. The owners chose MLM construction for both approaches, opting for the ease and simplicity in which the design could be manufactured and customized to their liking.

The owners wanted a full-length area for kids to be introduced to rope climbing so they continued with the MLM climbing wall design to add a simple feature behind the expert lead climbing area to accommodate this initiative.
Just one of the ad hoc projects that can come up during a climbing wall build with Vertical Solutions: the owners took the extra panels and wanted to make another bouldering wall for little ones, complete with slide and all.
Another view of this great rock gym facility and how accessible it is for everyone. This indoor climbing gym has something for every climber, no matter the experience or interest level.
The overhung lead climbing found in this climbing gym was made possible by our MLM style wall designs and has enough flexibility to accommodate all traditional and custom-designed needs of today’s modern gyms.
Although unfinished in this picture, the front desk area turned out looking great and stayed on-brand with the rest of the facility as intended.
Lots of room to spread out during community event nights. Vertical Solutions as a climbing wall builder always stresses how impactful it will be to not cram climbing square footage in just because you want the most possible. Having social space is key to a good climbing gym culture.
