Here’s what we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, applicable work experience can substitute for the degree.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of three years of project management experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Must be good at planning for large-scale, multi-step projects.
  • Communication: Good writing and speaking skills are needed for communicating with clients to achieve high levels of satisfaction.
  • Time-Management: Deadlines are crucial. Making sure that everything is on time and moving smoothly is a critical part of the job.
  • Management Skills: Must lead projects successfully & keep construction teams motivated and focused on the job. Must hold teams accountable for their work performance.

Payroll & Benefits Specialist

We are expanding our HR team and looking to add a payroll & benefits expert whose role will be focused on processing semi-monthly payroll for three separate entities and managing the design and administration of our benefit and wellness programs. Drafter

We are looking for a drafter to work on large-scale, indoor rock-climbing gym projects using Rhino3D. This is a great opportunity to use design concepts and construction knowledge/methods to do something unique in the climbing industry!

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Must be proficient in Revit, Rhino3D and have solid 3-D modeling abilities. Grasshopper for Rhino a plus;
  • Climbing experience is preferred;
  • Ability to work independently and with a team while meeting established deadlines;
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills;
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks is a plus;
  • Structural engineering or construction management experience preferred;

QA/QC Specialist

Field Carpenters, Installers, & Laborers (Traveling)

We design and construct our climbing walls with a welded structural steel frame, three layers of sheeting material and finally various forms of wood, from a structural plywood base up to highly aesthetic hardwoods you see on the surface. As part of our team we’d love you to have professional on-the-job construction training either as a jack-of-all-trades or an experienced rough/finish carpenter. Most shifts when traveling are M-F between 7am to 6pm and averaging 50 hours per week, but the ability to work weekends with overtime is crucial for project completion in many cases.

Most climbing gyms are in major cities, so this job is a great way to make money working on challenging projects, while traveling to different parts of the US. Housing is typically provided in Airbnbs, as quality of life is extremely important to our company culture. Although extended personal time is supported and encouraged, we have no shortage of work for capable people. We are looking for candidates with long-term potential on our team. Additionally, Health Care options are provided after a short waiting period.

Facilities & Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Technician  to keep our offices & shop running smoothly. Our new Technician will manage and perform all work related to our manufacturing building where we produce climbing holds, our main shop where the materials for our climbing walls are manufactured and designed as well as general facilities work for our office. This includes machinery maintenance, repairs, plumbing, electrical, & preventative maintenance. 1-2 years of general maintenance skills are required.

Pad Installer/Laborer

Carry out pad installation for climbing gyms in Utah and across the U.S. This includes different materials and systems including an envelope construction method or a tarp system using waterproof and stainproof nylon as well as high-quality foams. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work long days, has a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of difficult manual labor experience, and can travel 25+ weeks out of the year. When traveling we provide meal per diems, travel pay, and housing is typically provided in Airbnbs, as the quality of life is extremely important to our company culture.
