Drafter

We are looking for a skilled drafter to work on large-scale, indoor rock-climbing gym projects. This a great job for recent graduate in either structural engineering, industrial design or an architectural program and are interested in using design concepts and construction knowledge and methods to do something unique in a space they are already passionate about. 

Must be proficient in Revit, Rhino3D and have solid 3-D modeling abilities. Grasshopper for Rhino a plus. Climbing experience is preferred. Ability to work independently and with a team while meeting established deadlines. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks is a plus. Structural engineering or construction management experience is a plus. This position requires someone that is flexible, dependable and capable.  

QA/QC Specialist

Evaluate existing processes and design training systems to improve operations, improve onboarding & training for new hires, ensure quality control and develop best practices throughout the organization. This role will set up a training program in the Salt Lake City shop & travel on occasion to audit project sites across the U.S. to ensure our teams are building to set standards and are using a consistent, efficient process.

Must be organized, a minimum of 3 years manufacturing or construction experience, and the ability to enforce standard operating procedures to reduce errors and increase efficiency. 
 

Shop Welder

We are looking for skilled welders & fabricators that can help build materials for unique indoor rock climbing gym projects. We need people that are hard-working, experienced in an array of construction/installation jobs, and mix well with our culture of outdoor enthusiasts. Typical work week is Monday-Friday, 7am to 5pm. Main responsibilities will include: 
- Carry out climbing wall construction and installation using a variety of methods, including MIG welding and steel fabrication/installation; 
- General labor work (e.g. Sweep, clean up job site, run errands, use hammer and saw, demolition etc.); 
- Welding certification preferred; 
- Other skills such as rough or finish carpentry a bonus. 

Field Carpenters, Installers, & Laborers (Traveling)

We design and construct our climbing walls with a welded structural steel frame, three layers of sheeting material and finally various forms of wood, from a structural plywood base up to highly aesthetic hardwoods you see on the surface. As part of our team we’d love you to have professional on-the-job construction training either as a jack-of-all-trades or an experienced rough/finish carpenter. Most shifts when traveling are M-F between 7am to 6pm and averaging 50 hours per week, but the ability to work weekends with overtime is crucial for project completion in many cases.

Most climbing gyms are in major cities, so this job is a great way to make money working on challenging projects, while traveling to different parts of the US. Housing is typically provided in Airbnbs, as quality of life is extremely important to our company culture. Although extended personal time is supported and encouraged, we have no shortage of work for capable people. We are looking for candidates with long-term potential on our team. Additionally, Health Care options are provided after a short waiting period.

CNC Programmer & Operator

Manage CNC programming in order to contribute to the design and fabrication of high-end indoor climbing gyms. Prepare organizational documents for production, packing, material tracking and project reporting. Assist with the management of each project working closely with applicable team members. Prepare and operate CNC routers to perform tasks such as drilling, driding, milling etc. Must understand specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. Knowledge in Rhinoceros 3D preferred.
