Brooklyn Boulders’ Chicago location marks BKB’s westward expansion and the gym’s third entry into a major metropolitan area. With this facility and the two before it, Brooklyn Boulders has refined its model for success. Located in the trendy West Loop neighborhood, BKB Chicago features 25,000 square feet of climbing space, a multitude of training and yoga classes, a super-sized community workspace, as well as corporate team-building space. Providing a climbing community for urban populations is what BKB has mastered and continued to tackle.

One thing you can expect with BKB is a climbing gym experience like no other. Conceived from the ground up, their climbing facilities offer their customers a community that speaks to their lifestyle interests beyond the sports they take part in.
Group yoga is in session and occasionally held on a section of the route flooring to accommodate all that join. Climbers need not worry however, there is plenty of climbing space for all even when this is taking place.
This wide-angle shot shows a large section of the main climbing area, complete with BKB super-large logo and brand-specific red wall stains to accentuate the climbing wall design features. 
One really unique aspect about BKB Chicago is how they integrate beginner climbers within the facility. Due to the incredibly tall walls, BKB had the opportunity to design a rope-climbing mezzanine level which is right in the middle of all the action. Typically beginner areas are quarantined off in a gym, creating more of an intimidating relationship between climber and climbing areas. Not here. Just another reason why BKB is community-driven. 
One of the bouldering areas has distinct ridges both vertical and horizontal to visually break up the space, but using ARC wall construction still remains super flowy and part of a bigger overall bouldering system. 
Even the front desk got special Vertical Solutions treatment with a custom design that matches the motif throughout. Exposed hardwood roof beams tie the whole facility together, and the view you get upon entering this facility is a knock-out. Exactly what you want your customers to see every time they walk through your doors.
Another angle of the unique bouldering wall customers are first greeted with upon entry to BKB. These are ARC walls with a unique aesthetic and give visitors a glimpse of what to expect throughout the facility.
